PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject silicone rubber composition that can reveal good linearity between the voltage and the electric current, when a high voltage is applied thereto, and is useful as a semiconductive roller material to be used in the vicinity of a photoreceptor drum in a printer by admixing a specific carbon black to a silicone rubber composition. SOLUTION: The objective silicone rubber composition is obtained by mixing (A) 100 pts.wt. of a silicone rubber composition as dimethylpolysiloxane or the like with (B) carbon black that is prepared by the thermal black, has particle sizes of 70-350 nm, the dibutyl phthalate(DBP) absorption of 20-80 cm<3> /100 g and the sulfur content of 0-2,000 ppm, preferably in an amount of 0.5-200 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of carbon black homogeneously with an intensive mixer or the like. This composition enables easy control of the electric charge for performing high-quality printing in an electro-graphic type copying machine. |
