PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable three-dimensional display in a high speed with revolution display, by making a three-dimensional projection image by calculation from former images in a high speed by hardware when an image converted into orthogonal coordinates and applying prescribed operation on coordinates to be calculated. SOLUTION: Echo data from a probe 1 are transmitted through a transceiver circuit 2 to a B-mode processing system 3 and a color flow mapping(CFM) processing system 4, and amplitude information of the echo is made into an image by the B-mode processing system and vascular flow information is made into an image by the CFM processing system. A tree-dimensional image is generated by a digital scan convertor(DSC) 6 to input B-mode data and CFM data. Three dimensional projection calculation from an image in an image memory 5 is carried out on two-dimensional coordinate conversion of CFM data from a polar coordinate to an orthogonal coordinates and projection image calculation from plural viewpoints to obtain a projection image, and plural projection images are continuously displayed to display revolution display. |
