PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal support structure that ensures improved rigidity and mounting accuracy through the connection of its left and right support plates by way of a brake booster used also as one component of the structure. SOLUTION: For the construction of a brake-pedal support 20, a left support plate 21 and a right support plate 22 are connected together at their substantial middle places 21c and 22c by way of a brake booster 11, a shaft 23 mounted with a brake pedal 24 is journalled at both its ends to the support plates 21 and 22, and a bracket 25 mounted on the shaft 23 is coupled to the operating rod of the booster 11. These support plates 21 and 22 are fixed to the body of a vehicle at their upper places 21 and 22a as well as lower places 21b and 22b. |
