摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain good plate crown and plate shape from the front end portion of the next rolled steel by learning the correction term within the model on the basis of the deviation between the measured value and the predicted value of the plate crown and the deviation between the measured value and predicted value of differential expansion, and calculating the predicted value of differential expansion from the predicted value of plate crown after learning. SOLUTION: When plate crown learning and shape learning are used jointly, the shape learning for achieving agreement between the measured plate shape and the predicted value of the model, and the plate crown learning which changes the relations among stands as a result of distributing the learning amount of each stand to achieve agreement between the measured plate crown and the predicted value of the model, interfere with each other. To prevent the problem, the calculated value after the plate crown learning is used when the differential expansion is calculated by the formula. In the formula,Δεis the differential expansion on exit side of stand (i), Cri is the calculated value of the plate crown on an exit side of stand i after learning, Hi is plate thickness on an exit side of stand (i), andξis a correction factor.</p>
