PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of useless power consumption to the fuel feed device of an internal combustion engine and the generation of evaporative emission. SOLUTION: A relay brought into an ON-state and an OFF-state by a signal from an EFIECU (an electronic controlled unit) is arranged between a fuel pump to feed fuel to an internal combustion engine and a battery. The EFIECU decides the presence of a demand for forced injection of fuel to the internal combustion engine and the presence of a demand for an output from the internal combustion engine are decided. When both the demands are NO, even when the infernal combustion engine is rotated, injection of fuel is stopped, and a relay is brought into an off-state and a fuel pump is stopped. ts a result, power consumption for drive of a fuel pump is suppressed and further, the generation of evaporative emission by heat generated during drive of a fuel pump is suppressed. In a hybrid type power output device, since a charcoal canister to adsorb the evaporative emission is hardly purged, an effect is especially effective. |
