METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REMOVING ACIDIC GAS IN EXHAUST GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve acidic gas absorption efficiency by a method wherein the time until all the solid substances become under wet condition in a reactor is shortened and a slurry of an absorbent and the solid substances are homogeneously mixed. SOLUTION: A method for removing acidic gas in exhaust gas is constituted in such a way that a slurry of an absorbent is fed into a vertical reactor 1 in which the exhaust gas flows upward and while the slurry of the absorbent is dried by heat of the exhaust gas, acidic gas included in the exhaust gas is absorbed in the absorbent and dried solid substance included in the exhaust gas exhausted from a reactor 1 is separated and a part of the separated solid substance is recirculated into the reactor 1. In this case, the recirculated solid substances and the slurry of the absorbent is mixed in the solid substance recirculation path 6 and the mixture obtd. is fed in the reactor 1.
