PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition, excellent in condensation curability without causing the deterioration in mechanical strength and the depolymerization of a cured product and deterioration in preservation stability of the composition and useful for potting by including a specific condensation curing accelerator therein. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by including a compound selected from a polyether compound represented by the formula R-O-(Cx H2x O)n -R and the formula [R-O-(Cx H2x O)n -]y Qz , [R is H, a (substituted) monovalent hydrocarbon group or the like; Q is a polyvalent initiator residue, selected from ethylene glycol, glycerol or the like and having >=2 hydroxyl groups; (n) is 4-2,000; (x) is 2-4; (y) is 2-10; (z) is 1-5] (e.g. a polyoxyalkylene monobutyl ether) as a condensation curing accelerator in an amount of preferably 2-20 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. base polymer component such as a dimethylpolysiloxane having both terminals blocked with silanol groups. |
