PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition, requiring a small amount thereof used and a short time for cleaning and capable of reducing the amount of a subsequent resin for replacement used and useful for cleaning the interior of a molding machine or an extruder by including a thermoplastic resin, a methyl methacrylate-styrene copolymer or the like therein. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by mixing (A) a thermoplastic resin such as a polypropylene or a high-density polyethylene with (B) a methyl methacrylate-styrene copolymer, having preferably 10,000-150,000 number-average molecular weight and containing 15-30 wt.% methyl methacrylate and (C) a boric acid ester metallic salt of a higher fatty acid monoglyceride (e.g. a boric acid ester calcium salt of a stearic acid monoglyceride) in a stirring mixer or the like. The amounts of the components are preferably 60-97.5 wt.% component A, 0.5-10 wt.% component B and 2-30 wt.% component C. The resultant composition can be used to clean an injection molding machine, a T-die extruder or the like. |
