PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a germ-free transportation container, a method and apparatus for manufacturing the container with excellent safety without incorporating miscellaneous germs and without corrosion of the apparatus. SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises molds 31, 32 having cavity walls 315, 325 for molding the transportation container made of foam resin for fresh food, a steam supply source 4 for guiding foaming steam on a back surface chamber 2 of the mold, and a cooling water supply source 5 for introducing cooling water 50 into the chamber 2. Injection holes 6 for injecting the steam and the water are provided at the walls 315, 325. And, the source 5 has sterilized cooling water or sterilizable cooling water. |
