PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for metallic finishing having aluminum-like metallic luster. SOLUTION: When coating (A) a clear or colored coating material, (B) a coating material including a scaly aluminum and (C) the clear coating material in order, the scaly aluminum of the coating material B having a flaky shape having 0.01-0.2μm thickness and 100-300 aspect ratio is used in the method for metallic finishing. When the coating material A, the coating material B and the clear coating material C are coated one by one, the coating is carried out by coating the coating material A and the coating material B, hardening the coated membrane, wiping the coated surface and coating the clear coating material C.
