PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give an alarm to an operator when the at-rest posture is in an abnormal condition by judging whether or not the posture of a tower attachment is normal when the work of a tower crane is stopped. SOLUTION: An angle sensor 18 is provided on a base end part of a tower 11, and an angle sensor 19 is provided on a base end part of a jib 11. A jib catch sensor 20 is provided on a tip part of the tower 11. A controller 25 judges the posture of a tower attachment based on the detected signalsΘT,ΘJ and SC of the sensor, and compares the posture with the predetermined at-rest posture. When the posture of the tower attachment is deviated from the allowable range of the prescribed at-rest posture, the controller 25 judges that the at-rest posture is abnormal, and operates an alarm device 26.
