FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: tap wrench-holder has body with head for driving in and out of bolts and nuts and handle. It also includes drum, inserts, pin of square-shaped section and spherical hollows, spring-loaded ball, wedge with axle and spring, and switch. Inserts are inserted into holes of body from internal sides of fork. Drum, hole of which receives ball spring and ball, is positioned between them. Pin of square-shaped section is inserted in to combined holes of drum and inserts so that ball gets into one of two spherical hollows of square- shaped section pin. EFFECT: provision for rotation of square-shaped section pin by means of reversible stepless one-sided fixation, minimization of fixation interval without loss of strength and increase of tap wrench dimensions. 2 dwg
