PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the interval of front wheels to prevent a foot from touching a wheel on seating, by equipping casters to which front wheels are pivotally attached rotatable on the lower end part of front pipes and traversally bridging a connection rod whose end parts are inserted into long holes formed on facing side walls on right and left casters. SOLUTION: Casters 3 are mounted rotatable on the lower end parts of right and left front pipes of a handcart for the aged, and front wheels 4 are pivotally attached on outsides of casters 3. Laterally long holes 5 are formed on mutually facing side walls 3a of the facing casters 3, a connecting rod 6 whose both ends are inserted into the laterally long holes 5 is bridged between right and left casters 3, 3 to pivotally attach both ends of the connection rod 6 by pins 7. Ear pieces 3b are equipped on side walls 3a and a returning spring 8, which is to return casters 3 integrated with front wheels 4 facing toward a curved direction to the original position of the straight direction, is hung thereon. Further, stopper members 9 are mounted free to stand/lay in front of front pipes 2 and drawing springs 10 are hung between the lower end parts of front pipes 2 and the stopper members 9. |
