<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use lime used as an adsorbent repeatedly or as a raw material for a recycled product by activation treatment in which an adsorbent (sludge) discharged through a filtration process is heated at a specified temperature in a regeneration furnace to decarbonize calcium carbonate in lime sludge, and organic components are incinerated. SOLUTION: Received lime sludge from a lime sludge receiving hopper 11 is passed through the external heating type rotary kiln 25 of a regeneration furnace 12 for activation treatment heating at 700-1100 deg.C, stored temporarily in a storage tank 28 from a discharge opening 26 through a cooler 27, and sent to a filter. Air heated by an air heat exchanger 33 is introduced into the rotary kiln 25, passed through an exhaust line 35, introduced again into the heat exchanger 33, heated, and discharged from a dust collector 36 into the air through a stack 37. Lime to be used as an adsorbent is recovered, and heated by the kiln 25 to decarbonize calcium carbonate, and organic components are incinerated, cooled by the cooler 27, and mixed with calcined lime to be reused. Calcined line can be saved, and discarding costs can be reduced.</p> |
