<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion removal method of dioxins capable of avoiding resynthesis after heating decomposition of the dioxins in a waste gas to be treated. SOLUTION: A plurality of heat storage chambers 16 having heaters 17 are continuously formed in a combustion chamber 18 having a heating means 19, and a treatment object gas containing dioxins and having a temperature of not higher than 200 deg.C is fed to a heat storage chamber having heat already stored therein among the heat storage chambers so as to effect heat exchange with a heat storage body in the heat storage chamber and is preheated, and then the object gas is made to dwell in the combustion chamber at a temperature of 800 deg.C or higher for a duration of not less than 2 seconds so as to heat and decompose the dioxins, and thus heated gas is produced. The treated gas is made to pass through the heat storage chambers having temperatures lowered by heat exchange with the treatment object gas among the heat storage chambers so as to effect heat exchange with the heat storage bodies in the heat storage chambers, and thus is cooled to a temperature of not higher than 200 deg.C within 0.2 seconds in order to prevent the dioxins from being resynthesized and is discharged. The treatment object gas and treated gas are alternately switched to pass through in the heat storage chambers every specified time.</p> |
