<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impede infiltration of a knee part of an occupant in point shape in an air bag, by providing a constitution such that a load distributing plate can be deflected in its vertical direction when a boundary edge is loaded because of secondary collision. SOLUTION: At secondary collision time in a direction of arrow mark B, a knee part 8 of an occupant is made so as to hit a load distribution plate 3 hung down with an exhausted air bag 5. Here, for avoiding an injury of the knee part 8 of the occupant, the load distribution plate 3 is deflected in its vertical direction by deformation in the case of applying a load to an upper part boundary edge 10, to be constituted so as to prevent large resistance from being given to the occupant. That is, the load distribution plate 3 is constituted by a hard form, in a primary collision against a plate surface, sufficient deformation resistance and necessary elasticity are given, in addition at secondary collision time against the boundary edge 10, the load distribution plate 3 in a vertical plane is formed so that it can be deformed.</p> |
