PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the structure of an X-ray detection part less complicated, and to enable a film cassette and a digital sensor cassette to be easily exchanged mutually and further, to freely select between a panoramic radiography using the film cassette and a panoramic radiography using the digital sensor cassette. SOLUTION: An X-ray detection part 7 provided on the end part of a gyrating arm 5 opposite to an X-ray generator 6 is equipped with a cassette holder 9 which can easily hold either of a film cassette incorporating a radiographic film or a digital sensor cassette incorporating an electrical X-ray image detector. When the film cassette is adapted to the cassette holder 9, a panoramic radiography using the radiographic film can be performed and when the digital sensor cassette is adapted to the cassette holder 9, the electrical panoramic radiography using the electrical X-ray image detector can be performed as a constructional feature. |
