PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a separation sensor from a seat and set a limit value suitable for a user by providing the changing means of the limit value in a sanitary flushing device having the limit value to the continuous use quantity of a flushing part for a human body private part. SOLUTION: A sanitary flushing device 100 is mainly composed of a body 102, a stool lid 104, and a stool seat 106. The sanitary flushing device 100 contains a controller. This controller processes an automatic stop program for automatically stopping flushing water when a prescribed time is passed after the start of the flushing. In this program, the flushing time is measured every time when the sanitary flushing device 100 is used by a user, and stored and accumulated in the controller. The average value and a standard deviation value are calculated from the use time data up to now, and ((average value + 3)×standard deviation) is set to a new prescribed time. Thus, since the prescribed time is changed according to the flushing time data of the user, the prescribed time can be automatically set to an optimum value to the user.
