PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to securely support an arm, by forming a forearm supporting part for supporting the forearm inserted through a slit onto the back side of the slit extended in an almost vertical direction by the length allowing the forearm to be housed in onto at least one side of an arm supporting vest suitable for supporting a disabled arm. SOLUTION: On both sides of this arm supporting vest 10, slits 11 of the length to allow the forearm to be housed in are formed in an almost vertical direction, and on the back side of the arm supporting vest 10, a pocket 12 communicating with each slit 11 is formed as a forearm supporting part. The pocket 12 is formed in the depth not lower than the length to house almost a whole of the forearm, preferably not lower than about 25 cm. At that time, it is also preferable that a part of the lining cloth of the arm supporting vest 10 is sewed down on the surface cloth to use the space between the lining cloth and the surface cloth as a forearm supporting part when the forearm is inserted into. The pocket 12 is preferably extended from the elbow toward the hand in a direction about 0-45 deg. against the horizontal direction. |
