<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make dust and active carbon powder usable for desalting and de-dioxin by a method wherein, after the active carbon powder generated from circulated active carbon is separated and regenerated and the active carbon, the active carbon powder and dust are mutually separated, lime sprayed in a lime spraying tower is mixed therewith and the mixture is used as a de-dioxin agent. SOLUTION: Exhaust gas from a boiler is introduced into an adsorbing tower through a lime spraying tower, an electric precipitator, a bag filter, a blower and a heat exchanger and is brought into contact with particulate active carbon filling this adsorbing tower and is exhausted into a flue. In this instance, SO2 and dioxin are adsorbed on the particulate active carbon and NOx is decomposed in the existence of NH3 fed into the flue from the back stage of the heat exchanger. The particulate active carbon on which SO2 , dioxin and HCI are adsorbed is introduced into an elimination tower, where SO2 and HCl are eliminated and dioxin is decomposed by heating. Then, dust and the active carbon are separated by means of a screening machine under the elimination tower and the particulate active carbon is returned to the adsorbing tower and the dust is either returned to a furnace or put in the lime spraying tower.</p> |
