摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the adjustment of a distance between a printing part and a recording medium surface in conformity with the thickness of the recording medium and restrict deterioration in print quality due to a difference in fly distance of ink, by arranging a third linear movement means of a direction perpendicular to the recording medium surface as a printing sliding mechanism in a recording apparatus. SOLUTION: At the start of recording, a recording medium 16 is fastened on a paper-fastening part 15, while a printing part 1 is present at the left side of an arm part 2 and the arm part 2 is positioned at the upper side of the paper-fastening part 15. During one reciprocation of the printing part 1 on the arm part 2 in the direction of an arrow A (left position of the arm 2→right position→left position), the printing part 1 jets ink onto the recording medium 16. After the arm part 2 descends only by a predetermined amount in the direction of an arrow B and stands still, the printing part 1 again jets ink onto the recording medium 16 while reciprocating on the arm part 2 again in the A direction. Thereafter the arm part 2 descends by a predetermined amount and comes to a halt. The operation is repeated. Since the arm part 2 intermittently moves from the upper side to the lower side of the paper-fastening part 15, the whole face of the recording medium 16 is recorded.
