FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: cone-type crusher has bed frame with crushing bowl whose working surface is made in form of circular stages directed towards intake hole forming crushing chamber together with wear plate of crushing cone. Outer surface of wear plate of crushing cone has projections in its lower portion located along generatrices of wear plate over length equal to 0.25-0.5 of length of generatrix. Section of these projections reduces towards lesser diameter of cone. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of crushing, reduced power consumption, reduced wear of wear plates, improved quality of crushed material. 3 dwg
