PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic watering method, by which the roots of a large seedling are suspended so as to excellently penetrate a hole of a growing panel, and the large seedling is inserted and transplanted in the hole of the growing panel, and the transplantation of the large seedling is surely carried out in an automatic transplanter of the hydroponic seedling. SOLUTION: This automatic transplanter of a hydroponic seedling capable of mechanically transplanting large seedlings 57 of vegetables such as water cultured Crytotaenia japonica and Welsh onions in holes of a nursing seedling panel having many holes formed at a small pitch in series, one by one in many holes formed at a large pitch in the growing panel in series has a hose 48 capable of momentarily draining water off, installed above the second conveyer intermittently conveying the growing panel and regulated so that when a moving platform 23 nipping the large seedling by an opening and closing nipping tool is moved to an upper position of the second conveyer, water may be automatically poured to the plant foot of the large seedling from the momentarily water-discharging hose 48 so that the root 58 of the large seedling 57 may be suspended by the poured water. |
