<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an efficient warehousing and shipping processing of an automated storage and retrieval system by controlling a standby place of a stacker crane according to the storing status of a storing rack. SOLUTION: When a carrier processing by a stacker crane 20 is terminated, the location of the center of gravity of a storing location 11i ,j in stock is calculated in the storing location 11i ,j of a storing rack 10 based on a stock control table within a host computer 30. Further, a just central location between the location of the center of gravity and the location of a warehousing port 12 is calculated as a standby location. The stacker crane 20 is moved to the calculated standby location and the next warehousing and shipping request is awaited. Thus, both of a warehousing request and a shipping request can be complied by a probably shortest moving distance.</p> |
