<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability of a passing-through preventive section while using the passing-through preventive section in common to various opening size in the lower section of the lower horizontal muntin of a handrail. SOLUTION: Passing-through preventive sections 19 are constituted at both end sections of a base pipe member 20 while slidably fitting one end sections of L-shaped pipe members 21 respectively. Connecting sections 32 are fixed onto the undersides of mounting sections 27, and the other end sections of the L-shaped pipe members 21 are fitted slidably at the lower end sections of the connecting sections 32. The breadth of the passing-through preventive sections 19 is adjusted so as to be conformed to the breadth of an opening in the lower section of the lower horizontal muntin 16 of the handrail 11 by regulating the quantities of the base pipe member 20 and each L-shaped pipe member 21 fitted, and the L-shaped pipe members 21 are fixed by screws 25. The height place of the passing-through preventive section 19 is adjusted so as to be conformed to the height size of an opening by regulating the quantities of the connecting sections 32 and the L-shaped pipe members 21 fitted, and the connecting sections 32 are fastened by screws 34. The mounting sections 27 are fixed onto the lower horizontal muntin 16 of the handrail 11 by screws, and the passing- through preventive sections 19 are set up to the lower horizontal muntin 16.</p> |
