<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance recording quality by controlling the count of pulses to be applied and the temperature of a heat-generating resistance body. SOLUTION: When a timing for applying pulses to a predetermined heat- generating resistance body reaches (step 31), a pulse count data n1 stored in an applied pulse count memory (count of pulses applied to the predetermined heat-generating resistance body at a time two timings prior to the application timing), a pulse count data n2 (count of pulses applied to a near heat-generating resistance body at a time one timing prior to the application timing) and a pulse count data n3 (count of pulses applied to a near heat-generating resistance body at the present timing) are read out (step 32). A count value D (showing a pulse count of 31 as a count value of 1) is operated on the basis of the pulse count data n1-n3 (step 33). A subtraction pulse count (m) corresponding to the count value D is read out from a pulse count subtraction value table (step 34). The subtraction pulse count (m) is subtracted from an estimated count of pulses to be applied, whereby an application pulse count (n) is operated (step 35).</p> |
