The antitheft device allows the driver to enable or disable operation of the starter motor. A receiver (1) with an antenna (2) responds to a coded pulse sequence from a miniature transmitter by activating a relay (3), then two integrated circuits (4,5) and finally two power relays (6,7) that close or open the starter solenoid (8) circuit when the driver operates the starter.
