A locking element is installed on each foot of the roof rack and consists of a first pivot pin(18) rotatably mounted in the foot and with a diameter which is smaller than the width of the gap between the edge section of a cover strip and edge section of the roof channel. The lower end of the locking element has a hook(19), and the upper end has hand grip(25) rotationally fixed in the radial direction. Fastening elements(21) below the cover strip have a recess(22) which accommodates the hook section on the locking element when the hand grip is turned. |
