A switching device is equipped with at least one circuit board with one switch body (2) coupled to the switching device, and in which the contact tips (5) of the switch body are brought into contact with the associated contact surfaces of the circuit board (4) or out of engagement in an idling zone. The contact position of the contact tips (5) of the switch body (2) with the associated switching surfaces (6) of the circuit board (4) is attained by a translatory sequence of movements.
