The unit consists of a disc (5) placed on a hub (11) containing on its periphery friction pads (3,4). Sheet metal pressings (6,16) are placed coaxially on either side of the disc to cover it, and are joined solidly one with the other by rivets (13). These rivets are provided on either side with closing heads (14,15).
