Railway train fire extinguishing system

The system consists of a truck fitted with a tank (2) of an extinguishing liquid (3) and air (4) and liquid (5) compressors for delivering the liquid through pipes (12) to sprinklers in the coaches which make up the train. The pipes (12) are in sections, each being connected to the next truck's section via. a flexible hose (23), and the sprinklers can be at the sides and top of the trucks or carriages.
