Candle manufacturing machine has temperature-controlled rods positioned prior to casting at candle core

A candle manufacturing machine (1) has a casting box (2) with candle molds (3) from which candles are ejected by upwards-moving pistons (4). A temperature-controlled fluid flows through the casting box (2) and heats or cools the open topped molds (3) as required. A hollow rod (6) bearing a temperature-controlled (7) hot fluid is inserted into the open empty mold (3) towards the tip of the wick needle (5). The mold (3) is filled with liquid wax and cooled. The rod (6) is then withdrawn from the inverted candle leaving a hollow cavity in the candle core which is then filled with hot wax while the wick is threaded upwards through the needle (5). After the candle wax has solidified it is ejected by the piston (4).
