Universal serial bus hub

The hub has a first terminal associated with a number of second terminals and an input circuit allowing data received at one of the second terminals to be reproduced at the first terminal, with detection of asynchronous and synchronous conditions in the received data. A simulated end signal is provided at the first terminal when the synchronous condition is not detected within a given time interval after detection of the asynchronous condition. A universal serial bus transmission system for a hub is claimed independently.
