Fire detector for building fire alarm system

The fire detector uses an IR temperature sensor, coupled to an electronic evaluation circuit, for detecting a stationary hot spot with a temperature variation greater than that of the surrounding environment. The IR radiation is directed onto the temperature sensor via an optical lens, with a pivot device for movement of the lens and the temperature sensor for simulated movement of the hot spot.
