Solar cell manufacture from semiconductor waste

The semiconductors are symmetrically facetted before being divided into crystal wafers, so that during division into crystal strips of equal width, the strips have straight edges which are at the same angle, or a supplementary angle of 180 degrees, to a longitudinal edge of the crystal strip. A crystal strip, crystal tape, solar cell or solar module manufactured using the method is also claimed.
