A large Diesel engine has a reducing agent supply unit with injection valves for reducing agent injection into the manifold pipes. In a large (especially two-stroke) Diesel engine having an exhaust pipe (6) with a reducing agent supply unit upstream of a catalytic unit (17), the reducing agent supply unit includes injection valves (11) for reducing agent injection into respective associated manifold pipes (3).
