Knife folding machine

The machine has a cam disc control with control paths for lifting and tilting the folding knives (14a,14b). Cam rollers (42a,42b, 43a,43b) of a roller support (6) which is connected to a movement transfer device engage in the control paths and can be deflected to transfer the lift and tilt movement to the knives. A fold height measuring device is mounted behind the knives near the upper inlet strip. A horizontal counter pressure device can be provided for single production or a vertical counter pressure device can be provided for endless production. The material is smoothed out by a calming device provided in front of the inlet table.
