The invention concerns an assembling device comprising mainly assembling nodes and horizontal and vertical cylindrical tubes for assembling modular furniture consisting of essentially cylindrical elements, urged to be stacked on top of one another, central assembling means formed of a cylindrical solid bearing an equally cylindrical base with a smaller diameter than the former, said cylindrical solid comprising a threaded central tube arranged at the centre of the cylinder and provided with a flange forming the circular top edge and four cavities defining a top planar surface, arranged symmetrically relative to the central tube and having at the top, an opening with a flattened hoop shape for inserting and setting ovoid closing elements producing a completely planar assembly at the top, on either side of the central tube. The invention is useful for assembling modular office furniture.
