The catheter has an elongated shaft (1) as a percutaneous, transluminal access to the tissue section, an inflatable balloon (8) at the far end (2) of the shaft and an inflation element (7) in the shaft and opening into the balloon. It also has an ionising radiation source (12) which can be positioned in the shaft and which is filled with a gaseous inflation medium (9) for inflating the balloon. |
