<p>Method to form metallic reinforcement cages (11) for structures made of reinforced concrete, the metallic cages comprising longitudinal rods (13) associated with transverse stirrups (12), at least partly shaped closed and distanced lengthwise, the stirrups (12) being possibly polygonal, circular, mesh, etc. the method including the distribution of the stirrups (12) in number and in position as per design, within specific positioning and retaining means (20) distanced lengthwise and individually identified, the positioning and retaining means (20) cooperating at least with a portion of the stirrups (12) to clamp them in an erect position on a substantially vertical plane, the longitudinal positioning of the longitudinal rods (13) inside the area defined by the stirrups (12) and their axial positioning, the reciprocal vertical positioning of the longitudinal rods (13) with respect to the stirrups (12), the reciprocal connection of the longitudinal rods (13) and the stirrups (12), the release of the cage (11) from the positioning and retaining means (20).
