Separation of polyolefinic polymers involves dissolving a polyolefinic polymer fraction or mixture as starting material and adding polyolefins to give the required viscosity and/or ratio. Separation of polyolefinic polymers from a polyolefinic polymer fraction or mixture as starting material comprises dissolving the starting material in a solvent, separating off, determining the viscosity and/or polyolefin content of the mixture, adding polyolefins to give the required viscosity and/or ratio, and further treating to give a workable polymer. An Independent claim is included for a product made from the above polymer and comprising 10-95 wt.% polyethylene and 5-95 wt.% polypropylene.
