The system has a basic body (2), connecting facilities (3,4), e.g. a socket, for a plug connection and an element (8), which consists of a mirror insert polished at its outer surface (6) with a pin. The insert is connected to the basic body using a spacer piece (5). The element is arranged in a recess (9) of the basic body. By transmitting determined vibrations onto the human body, a resonance can be produced between the vibration causing the illness or the complaint and the applied vibration, and so neutralizing the vibration producing the complaint, e.g. acting as a filter.
