<p>A radiation-curable composition includes photo-polymerizable compounds, such as acrylated epoxies, urethanes and polyesters, and photoinitiators, such as benzophenone with tertiary amino alcohols, such as 2-dimethylamino-1-butanol, as co-initiators. The co-initiator provides improved curing speed, depth of cure or both. Tertiary amino alcohols of the invention are defined by formula (I), where R1 and R2 are methyl, R3 is hydrogen, or C1-C5 alkyl, R4 is C1-C5 alkyl or -CH2OH, and R5 is C1-C5 alkyl substituted with at least one hydroxyl group.</p> |
