The appts is a U-shaped frame with two parallel rods and a bridge section. One of the parallel rods forms a support piece (1) set onto the first surface (F1) with its ends face serving as a support (2). The other parallel rod is formed of a holder (4) with a second support end (5) adjustable in the length of the holder. The second piece end face is used to measure the difference in level. The first rod supports a spirit level used to set the appts. up correctly. The second rod is relocatable to the second surface relative to the first rod. It has a scale (8) along its length.
