Liquid electrolyte battery with electrolyte circulation system, e.g. for cars

Systems are provided in the battery e.g. the first and second plate elements. The first element (4) of which the width of the cell and with a predetermined length, is arranged near and parallel to the vertical edges (2c) of the plate shaped electrodes (2) on a housing side. The second plate element (6) with a predetermined length and width, is arranged lying approximately horizontal with an endface (6a) in the vicinity of the top edge (4a) of the first plate type element (4). The circulation of the electrolyte is effected by the inbuilt components. With the movement of the battery the components cause a pump action creating a flow. Units are also provided which effect a circulation by thermal convection.
