Medical cutting instrument

The medical instrument, with a delicate working point (1) for cutting and the like, has a bonding between it and the handle (3) in a fixed or exchangeable fitting, preferably with a screw bonding (2) with a central handle (3). The handle has a sleeve (4) with a length of one-half to one-third of the total instrument length. The sleeve can slide variably, or at given points, and be locked in place. An operating section (5) of the instrument is used manually to release, move and lock the sleeve which, in the extreme forward position, shrouds the point.
