Emergency exit for a twin deck passenger railway wagon

The emergency exit, for a twin level passenger railway wagon, has a flap (9) at part of the surface of the end wall (6), which can be unlocked. When released, the flap swings on a link (10) to expose an opening to lead the passengers from the upper level to the lower deck (4) or to an entry (13) zone into the lower deck. An access aid (16) fits into the opening, as a bridge between the upper and lower levels.
