Parabolic channel concentrator for solar-thermal power station

The parabolic channel concentrator for a solar-thermal power station has a channel-shaped bent reflector plate (3) for focussing the incident solar radiation (S) and a carrier construction (4) for the reflector plate made out of several segments (2) arranged one behind another in the channel's longitudinal direction. Each segment is assembled from several frames (5) consisting of wood. The frames of one segment are located in the transverse direction one behind another and the abutting transverse bars (7) of the frames have a parabolic shape supporting the reflector plate. A guide rail mounted on the transverse bars of the frame of two neighboring segments is provided for two neighboring reflector plates.
