The inner section(5) of the synchronizing joint is constructed in one piece with the shaft extension(5a) which is connected twist-free to the end of a drive shaft(8). The shaft extension is hollow cylindrical and equipped with serrations. A sealing collar(10) is attached to the shaft extension and to the outer section(6) of the synchronizing joint. The inner race(3a) of the wheel bearing(3) is supported on the outer section of the synchronizing joint.
