Contactless electronic card and its manufacturing method

The card has an insulating base (1) carrying a winding (4) that serves as an antenna. An integrated circuit (9) connects to the ends (7,8) of the winding. The base has a recess (3) to accept the integrated circuit. Where the winding crosses the recess it follows the surfaces of the recess. An insulating layer is placed over the top of the base, attached by an adhesive.
